People who assassinated Gandhiji thought they are done, they have achived what they want, but they never knew that Gandiji was not a person..Gandhiji is a thought, an idea, he is an ideology, that will remain for ever!
That is why they have had to spent lot of time and effort in discrediting him of his achievements, disrespecting him, dismantling his persona, disrespecting him or even abusing him and his ideas.
They tried shooting him on the streets (his picture), they tried trending godse on twitter on his birth and death anniversary, they removed him from posters of his own jayanthi celebrations, from khadi posters and what not.. tomorrow he may go out of the "rupee" also....
Guess what? He is still live, and shall forever be! The idea, the thought, the ideology is still alive through people like us. Let's keep that alive, let's celebrate what he has done for us, and let's continue to value his sacrifices.
Lets regain India from the nefarious and sectarian ideas that assassinated him, the idea based on religious supremacy, that of uniformity, that of a majoritarian hegemony.
